Stephen Axelrod is a professional, New York-based actor who has worked off Broadway (Grandma Sylvias Funeral, The American Clock), in film, television (Law & Order, Law & Order: Criminal Intent, Gotham, Daredevil, Plot against America, Ransom, In the Soup and Everyday People), and commercials. 

He’s written and performed two autobiographical, one-man shows (Blue Collar Bay, Surf Avenue) for which he’s traveled throughout the country for ten years. 

Axelrod is a graduate of Hunter College with a degree in theater, recipient of the Jerry Kaufman Award in Playwriting, a former member of the New York Stock Exchange and served four years in the US Marine Corps.
